Former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese ripped Joe Rogan and President Trump in a new Facebook post.

In a significant political development, influential podcaster Joe Rogan endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump on November 4, 2024, the eve of the United States presidential election. Rogan’s endorsement was announced during an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” where he referenced a recent discussion with entrepreneur Elon Musk, stating that Musk “makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”

This endorsement marked a notable shift for Rogan, who had previously supported Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders in the 2020 election. Rogan’s podcast, renowned for its extensive reach and diverse audience, provided a platform for Trump to engage with voters in an unfiltered, conversational format. Their three-hour interview garnered substantial attention, amassing millions of views.

Analysts suggest that Rogan’s endorsement and the extensive exposure from the podcast appearance contributed to Trump’s appeal, particularly among younger male voters disillusioned with progressive politics. Elon Musk, a prominent supporter of Trump, emphasized the impact of these long-form interviews, noting that they allowed voters to perceive Trump as a genuine individual, contrasting with his opponent, Kamala Harris, who declined similar unscripted podcast opportunities.

Rogan’s support underscores the evolving influence of alternative media platforms in shaping political discourse and voter perceptions, highlighting the growing significance of podcasts in modern political campaigns.
