Foo Fighters Announce Huge 2019 Shows With Nirvana Connection

Foo Fighters have announced that they will performing at the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2019.

Foo Fighters previously played Reading in 1995, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005, and 2012.

Dave Grohl played at Reading in 1991 and 1992 with Nirvana. The 1992 Reading gig was arguably Nirvana’s most iconic, and this 2019 show will take place 27 years later. Kurt Cobain only lived to be 27, so it’s a bittersweet anniversary.

Foo Fighters wrote on Twitter, “DO YOU LOVE ROCK AND ROLL???
