Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has confirmed that he has heard the same story that Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” is about Freddie Mercury coming to terms with being homosexual and a member of the LGBTQ community. Alternative Nation transcribed his Radio X interview comments. Dave Grohl told a surprising name why you can’t do drugs in a stunning video yesterday.

“Bohemian Rhapsody, that’s kind of the first song I really remember hearing as a kid, and I just thought it was kind of funny. I was maybe 4 or 5 when it came out in 1976 or 1977. So I was a child and I remember being in my Dad’s car, and me and my older sister laughing, and every time we heard the ‘Mamma Mia’ we just thought that was really funny. It just started as a song I remember being really funny as a little kid, but I remembered it.

Queen had that ability to create a movie, Bohemian Rhapsody was 6 minutes long. What can you say about that song besides it’s brilliant. It’s a mini opera, it started out as this beautiful ballad about killing a man. It’s been said that it’s about Freddie coming to terms with his sexuality.”

Foo Fighters also revealed Red Hot Chili Peppers disrespect. Hawkins added, “I don’t know, I’ve heard that, Freddie never said that, but Brian May said it in an interview. I think he just kind of read into it, and it might be true. So there is a sadness to it. Then there is this crazy opera section, that took a lot of work to do, apparently weeks to layer and layer these voices of these crazy harmonies, and they’re really dense harmonies, they’re not easy harmonies.

All of the techniques they used to do that stuff is super highly musically schooled, but the thing about Queen is none of them went to music school.” Joe Walsh making a vicious remark to a Foo Fighters member was revealed a few days ago.
