Taylor Hawkins show gears will be auctioned

Julien’s Auctions has announced an auction featuring some of the gear used at the recent Taylor Hawkins tribute shows, which took place in London and Los Angeles in September.

The sale will include 5 guitars, each of them signed by performers from the all-star line-up at the concerts, with the proceeds benefitting two of Hawkins’ favorite charities: Music Support, and MusiCares.

Among the offerings is Dave Grohl’s Gibson Trini Lopez signature model, signed by the Foos frontman, as well as Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, and many others, with the bid sitting at $6,000.

There’s also a ’00s EVH Frankenstein replica signed by Grohl, Novoselic, Stewart Copeland, Kesha, and Joan Jett, with the current bid going for $3,500.

A Fender Nile Rodgers signature Hitmaker Stratocaster is also listed, with the guitarist offering the chance to sign the instrument and record a video message for the buyer. The Strat is currently sitting at a lower bid of $700.

Going into 4-string territory, there’s a 2021 Manson John Paul Jones signature bass up for grabs, signed by the Led Zeppelin legend himself, as well as many of the other performers, currently sitting at $2,250.

There’s also a 2022 Brian May Red Special, signed by Grohl, Copeland, Kesha, and Brian Johnson, which is currently sitting with a bid of $2,250.

The auction will run until November 13 online and in person, at New York’s Hard Rock Cafe. Fans who are interested can check out more information at this link.
