Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins overdosed on heroin in 2000 and nearly died, and he has now confirmed to Kerrang magazine that he did ‘a lot’ of drugs before getting clean, though he didn’t specify all of them. A Foo Fighters member dropped a Dave Grohl quitting bombshell earlier this month.

“I used to do a lot of f***ing drugs…I believed the bullshit myth of live fast and die young.”

Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders will release a new album titled Get The Money on November 6th. Duff McKagan, Dave Grohl, Nancy Wilson, Perry Farrell, Joe Walsh, Chrissie Hynde, LeAnn Rimes, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, and Pat Smear make guest appearances on the album.

Foo Fighters recently revealed how much Dave Grohl pays them. officerpenisdickdick posted an emotional Foo Fighters story recently on Reddit, “On October 8th, my 4 month old son underwent open heart surgery to correct a congenital heart defect. The defect would have ended his life if wasn’t for his surgeon.

Upon our first meeting with him to discuss the surgery, we saw a giant Foo Fighters poster as a centerpiece to his Office. Asking him if he was a fan, he got instantly flustered and gushed about how much he likes Foo Fighters and how he often has it playing in the OR to focus.

Being a fan of alternative music myself, it instantly made me feel better about the situation. We’re a week post-op now, and my little man is doing great. This doctor saved my angels life, and I would love to be able to give him something personal as a token of my gratitude. Looking for ideas of how we can make this happen?” Dave Grohl recently revealed if a Foo Fighters member was fired.
