Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear’s guitar is being auctioned by Guitar Auctions, including a photo of Smear letting Drew Barrymore use the guitar.

1990 Gretsch White Falcon, formerly owned by @foofighters guitarist, Pat Smear and used by Dave Grohl in the video for for one of the bands biggest rock hits, ‘Monkey Wrench’. The guitar was also used for recording sessions on ‘The Colour and the Shape’ and possibly with Nirvana in some capacity.
The guitar was modified by Pats tech, Earnie Bailey @wire.instruments.guitars , to better suit his playing style, including the tailpiece, switch relocation and stuffing the interior to stop feedback.
The guitar is sold with various provenance , including photographs that show Pat Smear, @drewbarrymore and Tim Armstrong with the instrument.
