Dave Graham, CEO of Latitude 38, the entertainment company behind the Bottle Rock festival, has confirmed that Foo Fighters are headed to the studio to record a new album. “The Foo Fighters are in the studio all [of 2017] recording a new album and BottleRock may be their only show in 2017 in North America,” he recently told the Napa Valley Register.

WWE wrestler and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho recently interviewed Gary Spivack and Clay Busch of Danny Wimmer Presents, the promoters of Rock on the Range and Carolina Rebellion, on Talk is Jericho. During the interview, Jericho discussed Dave Grohl.

“I’ll tell you the one thing about Grohl, we went to the Clive Davis Grammy party last year. They weren’t selling any more liquor, but I paid the waiter 100 bucks to buy me and Grohl some shots. He said he was going to pay me 50 bucks, but then I never saw him again for the rest of the night. So Dave Grohl, you owe me 50 bucks if you’re listening to this. I want my money.”

Dave Grohl recently made an appearance on an episode of Comedy Central’s Drunk History. Hamilton musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda gets drunk and recounts the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and his lifelong rivalry with Aaron Burr, telling the tale of Hamilton’s fire-plagued voyage to The Colonies in the following terms. Questlove, plus Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale, Parks & Recreaction’s Aubrey Plaza, and Fargo‘s Bokeem Woodbine also make appearances.

Grohl plays a gossiping founding father who uses some dirty language. He says, “Bullshit, that’s terrible, this guy just wants to bring back the British.” Watch part of his his cameo below.
