Former Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk wrote on Instagram, “Saw an old pal today. #chadsmith #notwillferrell.”

He recently celebrated The Battle of Los Angeles‘ 18th anniversary: “Damn! This record turns 18 today. The tones, the voice, the jams, the urgency. Sounds like 20 pounds of meat stuffed in a 10 pound bag. What’s your favorite song? Mine is CALM LIKE A BOMB. #proudparent #ratm.”

He also wrote about the 25th anniversary of RATM’s debut album, “And a happy 25th birthday to you!!! We recorded more than half of the tracks off this record live at Sound City in one room with about 50 of our friends watching. You can here me explain more about it in the Sound City movie documentary. Thank you so very much for listening and I hope we inspired you!!! ✊️? #thegoal”
