Late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury’s iconic statue was sadly vandalized just a few weeks ago. Gene Simmons posted a photo last week where he partied with a Freddie Mercury bandmate.

Freddie Mercury Club wrote, “So you guys have probably heard about what happened last night. Freddie’s statue at the shore of Lake Geneva, Montreux was sprayed with a green paint by God knows who and this morning the Montreux authorities came and cleaned and restored it to its original condition…👏 I admire such fast and professional response from Montreux and I hope they plant surveillance cameras all around this time🙏

Unfortunately such vandalism had also happened in February 2017 (See 10th photo). It’s a sad affair to think there are actually people in this world who would do such a thing…But what do you expect from ignorant people when Freddie’s so called ‘friends’ treat him with such disrespect and childishness these days and officially give permission to everyone else to undermine him?

But you know what? That just proves that Freddie is more alive today and more intimidating than ever that there are people who are jealous of his talents and his enduring fame and influence over other so called musicians and their world wide tours.

So let a couple of haters hate away because Freddie’s legendary status as a singer/performer/songwriter/musician, his untouchable stamp on music history, and his inspirational brave unwavering yet sweet and generous image will not be tarnished by such petty attempts.

Freddie will continue to reign over the music industry casting his larger than life shadow on anyone who tries to make it by undermining him. Not everything lasts forever but Freddie’s undying power to inspire more and more people with musical authenticity and love for life lasts forever whether you like it or not…Long live the great Freddie Mercury 🙌❤👑” Queen recently revealed ‘wicked’ remarks Freddie Mercury made after getting AIDS.
