Green Day End Concert After Guitar Accident

Green Day recently performed at Super Bowl Music Fest in LA with Miley Cyrus. The festival took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, about 10 miles (16 kilometers) from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, where the LA Rams play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The fans were thrilled with the band’s performance and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Previously, Billie Joe Armstrong ‘abandoned’ a bad Green Day performance.

Green Day ended the concert after guitar string broke

While it seemed that the concert would continue for some more time, it was ended after the end of ‘Going to Pasalaqua’. Fans have speculated that the concert would continue if that mishap did not happen.

TheEndIsHere12 posted on Reddit, “He broke a string at the end of Pasalaqua. Who knows how many more they would’ve played.”

BaileyZindel responded, “I think he intended to end on Pasalacqua. The one other time I saw GD play songs after Good Riddance they closed with that one.”

The members of Green Day focused on their hits of the 1990s and early 2000s. They opened with a rousing rip through 2004’s “American Idiot.” “Los Angeles!” lead singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, who turns 50 on Thursday, shouted during the song. “Super Bowl!” he later yelled, in the only real mention the game got during the night.

They brought their own bit of 1966 with a cover of “I Fought The Law,” whose most famous version was released that year by the Bobby Fuller Four.
