Howard Stern Gets Surprise Visit From a Spider
Howard Stern had another surprise in his studio on Monday morning. Last week, Bravo’s Andy Cohen took over his mic as a prank. This time, the shock came from nature, a big spider fell from the ceiling while Stern was on air.
“I’m flipping out this morning because this big spider dropped out of the ceiling. I feel like he’s in my hair or crawling up my leg, and I’m freaking out,” Stern told his listeners as he quickly jumped out of his chair. He even shouted, “F*** you, spider!”
The show stopped for a few minutes while Stern tried to figure out where the spider went. He stayed on edge, worried the spider might still be nearby. The moment was scary but also funny for the audience, who heard it all happen live.
Stern Jokes About His Career Ending
After calming down, Stern turned the scary moment into a joke. “I always thought: how is my career gonna end?” he said. “I’m going to be run off by spiders. That’s what’s going to be the end of my career.”
The mix of fear and humor kept fans entertained as Stern made fun of himself. While Andy Cohen’s prank last week was carefully planned, this spider incident showed that unexpected things can happen anytime on live radio.
