Howard Stern recently stated on his show on Wednesday that he is ‘looking to know’ what SiriusXM is paying Andy Cohen with his new contract. He said, “I don’t know what’s going on with Andy Cohen.”
Mariann Brooklyn told Stern that he needs to find out from SiriusXM’s leaders what Cohen is being paid, for his own contract interests. She said, “I hope Scott Greenstein and Jennifer Witz are paying attention….but they got the money for you.”
Andy Cohen inks new deal
Andy Cohen has decided to stay with SiriusXM and has inked a new deal with the satellite radio giant for his flagship daily show Andy Cohen Live and his Radio Andy channel.
Cohen has become a key figure in the entertainment service, known for his pop culture news, analysis, and headline-making celebrity interviews.
Recently, he played a practical joke on the media and many of his colleague Howard Stern’s listeners by temporarily taking over Stern’s channel to announce it would be rebranded as “Andy 100,” successfully tricking the Associated Press and other media outlets.
Stern is currently in discussions with the company regarding his future, expressing a desire to negotiate a new deal.
The new agreement with SiriusXM ensures that Cohen will continue to be a prominent presence in pop culture for years to come. His Bravo late-night show, Watch What Happens Live, has recently been renewed through 2027, and NBCUniversal has extended his first-look deal through 2028.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have a home at SiriusXM that’s allowed me to build a destination for pop culture and fun, featuring talent that I love and admire,” said Cohen in a statement. “SiriusXM appreciates talent, and I appreciate them!”
“We’re incredibly proud to celebrate 10 years of Radio Andy and even more excited that Andy will continue to be a vital part of the SiriusXM family,” added Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM president and chief content officer.
“Over the past decade, the channel has evolved into a truly unique destination—a vibrant home for pop culture enthusiasts who come for the bold, live, and unfiltered energy that only Radio Andy delivers.”
