Howard Stern claimed in a New York Times interview that he heartbreakingly was very lonely as a young man, and he looked to Mick Jagger as a prophet due to this isolation. He said he would love to interview Jagger.

Who’s your dream interview?

Mick Jagger. Oh, my God, I love the Stones. I sat in my room for years and listened to records because I didn’t have a lot of places to go. Musicians to me were like prophets. I learned more from musicians than I ever did from religious training. So to sit down with Mick Jagger and talk about his career — that might be incredible.

Speaking of religious training, is it right that one of your daughters is a rabbi?

One of my daughters is a rabbi, but she’s in that phase where she’s still learning. I have another daughter who’s getting a doctorate in psychology. She’s been a social worker for years, dealing with the foster-care system. Then I have a daughter who’s a registered nurse and on her way to becoming a nurse practitioner. It blows my mind what my kids do. They’re way better than I am.

Howard Stern discussed news of Mick Jagger’s heart surgery recently as well.

Fansite MarksFriggin.com recapped: Robin read a story about the Rolling Stones who have to delay their tour because of doctor’s orders. Mick is sick so they have to hold off. Howard said the guy is 75 and still going out and rockin’. Robin said Mick has said he’s going to work as hard as he can to get back out there. Howard said they must have a social media company working for them. He said he kind of hates that.

He said they were a lot cooler when you didn’t know anything about them. Howard and Robin talked about how crazy it would be if Mick died before Keith Richards. Howard said that would be something. Robin said he just has to stay home to receive some medical procedure. Howard said Keith smokes like 19 packs of cigarettes a day and he’s fine. Howard said everything hurts on him and he’s not sure how those guys are pulling it off.
