Howard Stern recently opened up on the Jane’s Addiction fight. He was sad about it. He previously revealed that the band gave him a new song to premiere called “True Love” and played a snippet of it.

On the Howard Stern Show, he said: “The band has just reunited they’re out doing some dates as you saw I thought oh this is so great and then the news was everywhere that video is plastered everywhere where Dave is playing and according to Perry’s wife, Etty, she put out a statement saying that he was pissed that the band was playing too loud. And there were times when he’s talking to the audience. They would try to you know play them off like it’s the Academy Awards or something. You don’t like to drown them out because he was talking a lot during the show.”
He added: “But anyway, Perry became very agitated. But the one thing you can’t do is start attacking a guitar player on stage, especially when the guy’s looking down playing his guitar. He’s not particularly paying attention and worrying about a threat from his lead singer. So Perry kind of body checked them, and then started to want to throw a fist, and then the rest of the band jumped on him and security. And by the way, I love those guys. I’ve had great experiences with those guys I’ve had them on the show, and I feel nothing but sadness in this case because they’re these talented musicians.”
A shocking altercation recently took place between Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro. The incident saw Farrell appearing to purposely tackle Navarro on stage, leading to a heated confrontation. This left both the audience and band members shocked. Footage captured by fans shows that Farrell, in the middle of his meltdown, attempted to use his microphone as a weapon against his bandmates.
The tension between Farrell and Navarro reportedly escalated after Farrell got in Navarro’s face and began hurling insults at him. A confused Navarro could be seen asking what was going on, but before anyone could intervene, Farrell lunged at him. The situation escalated as Farrell started throwing punches, though it’s unclear if any landed on Navarro. Perry Farrell has also apologized to Dave Navarro after their battle onstage.
