Jack Osbourne Names New Daughter After Ozzy

Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Gearhart, have announced the birth of their second child together, revealing they welcomed a baby girl earlier this month. The couple said the newborn has been named Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, a nod to Jack’s late father, Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne, and the news has quickly spread among fans of the Osbourne family.

Ozzy Matilda was born on March 5 and weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, as stated by the couple’s joint Instagram announcement and the significance of the name choice following Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July 2025.

The new arrival is Jack’s fifth daughter. He and Ms. Gearhart previously welcomed their first child together, Maple Artemis Osbourne, in July 2022. Jack also shares three daughters with his ex-wife, Ms. Lisa Stelly: Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose, and Minnie Theodora.

In a previous Alternative Nation report, Jack became emotional while discussing his father’s private struggles, recalling Ozzy’s “insecurities” in an interview as the family processed the loss.

Jack has said his father learned about the pregnancy before he died, framing the coming birth as both a distraction from grief and a source of renewed hope for the family. With the newest addition now here, the Osbournes’ next chapter arrives with a name that directly ties to the late singer’s legacy.
