Jack Osbourne Slams ‘Sick’ Weight-Loss Rumours
Jack Osbourne has pushed back against online speculation that he is unwell after comments circulated about his appearance and alleged rapid weight loss. In an Instagram video response, the TV personality and son of Ozzy Osbourne said the claims had spiralled into a wave of articles and posts suggesting he looked “grossly underweight.”
In the clip, Rock Celebrities reported that Mr. Osbourne said he has “lost no weight” since leaving I’m A Celebrity around six months ago, and that the main change people are reacting to is that he shaved his beard and kept a moustache.
Mr. Osbourne added that he has been gradually losing weight over the last three and a half years after reaching about 220 pounds, saying he made lifestyle changes intentionally. He also addressed drug-related rumours, saying the chatter about weight-loss medications has no basis in what he has shared publicly.
The remarks follow other moments in which Mr. Osbourne has addressed internet claims directly, including when he shut down a separate rumour involving Wolfgang Van Halen in previous Alternative Nation coverage.
Mr. Osbourne said he currently weighs about 155 pounds and described that figure as healthy for his height. He has previously spoken about living with multiple sclerosis, a diagnosis he revealed in 2012, which has contributed to heightened concern among some fans whenever his appearance changes. He framed his latest video as an attempt to stop the speculation and set the record straight.
