BTS’ V Wears Springsteen ‘Born in the USA’ Shirt

BTS member V, the South Korean singer also known as Kim Taehyung, was spotted paying subtle tribute to Bruce Springsteen during the group’s May 16 concert at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, California.

During the show, V wore a Bruce Springsteen “Born in the USA” T-shirt onstage, Asbury Park Press reported.

The appearance came as BTS continues its Arirang World Tour, which has been drawing major stadium crowds on the West Coast.

The tour is also scheduled to bring the group to the New York/New Jersey area with dates set for Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

While the moment was brief, it underscored Springsteen’s lasting cultural reach, with his “Born in the USA” imagery still turning up in unexpected places decades after the album’s release.
