Aerosmith has made another sad announcement for the fans. They had previously announced that they were forced to cancel the concert on Friday night, December 2 at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada due to an illness suffered by singer Steven Tyler. The band has once again called off another show.
Joe Perry issues statement
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry took to his Instagram account and issued a statement regarding the show being called off. He revealed that the show in Las Vegas that was scheduled to take place on Monday, Decemeber 5, has been called off. It has been noted that Steven Tyler’s doctor has advised him to take more rest.
“Unfortunately tomorrow’s show, Monday December 5th, in Las Vegas has to be cancelled. Steven Tyler said ‘on the advice of my doctor, I’m taking more time to rest… there is nowhere we’d rather be than on stage surrounded by the greatest fans in the world..’
We sincerely apologize.

Aerosmith is scheduled to end its “Deuces Are Wild” Vegas residency after performances on Thursday, December 8 and Sunday, December 11.
It was back in June that Aerosmith had canceled shows as Tyler had entered a treatment program after relapsing on pain medication following foot surgery. Leading up to the latest run of shows, Aerosmith played Boston’s Fenway Park to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Steven Tyler had recently made his return to perform with Aerosmith. The band had canceled a string of concert dates as part of Aerosmith’s Deuces Are Wild residency show in Las Vegas. However, the band had made its return to Sin City back in September.
