The Beatles icon John Lennon waving a white flag and surrendering in photos was recently revealed on his Twitter account. John Lennon revealing who was a ‘clown’ in The Beatles family was detailed yesterday.

Lennon said, “A white flag is going to be our symbol. And that means everybody can wave a white flag; just a pure, white flag. You know, we want a truce.”

He said The Beatles classic “Day Tripper” was his own creation, and explained the ‘hippie’ meaning behind the song.

‘That’s mine, including the guitar lick, the guitar break, the whole bit. Day trippers are people who go on a day trip, right? Usually on a ferry boat or something. But it was kind of, you know, you’re just a weekend hippie. Get it?’

“Day Tripper” was released as a double A-side single with “We Can Work It Out” in December 1965, and it appeared on the album Rubber Soul. John Lennon squatting on a beach was revealed in a photo a few days ago.

Lennon also said about what rock and roll meant to him in another tweet, “The thing about rock & roll – good rock & roll – whatever good means- is that it’s real, and realism gets through to you, despite yourself. You recognize something in it which is true, like all true art.”

‘I’ve learned to make bread which I was thrilled with, I took a Polaroid of me first bread, you know. These two – I couldn’t believe they came out like that.’ John Lennon’s ‘intense’ last photo with his wife were recently revealed.
