Rage Against The Machine singer Zack de la Rocha and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme surprised fans by making virtual guest performance appearances at Run The Jewels’ Holy Calamavote show over the weekend in Atlanta on Adult Swim. Zack and Pharrell joined for “Ju$t” with Josh Homme playing guitar on “Pulling The Pin” with Mavis Staples.

RATM were set to reunite for a tour this year, but were forced to postpone their plans to 2021 due to the worldwide pandemic. Tom Morello has kept busy though, recently holding a very special event. Morello also recently praised Dave Grohl’s biggest rival.

Morello said, “A massive THANK YOU to the entire team that helped bring to life my ‘Speaking Truth To Power Through Stories And Song’ event. It’s incredibly important that we recognize not just artists but EVERYONE who works tirelessly #BehindTheRecord.

Thank you to the @RecordingAcademy for this initiative to #GiveCredit where credit is due. Let’s celebrate ALL creators who work behind the scenes & bring music credits back. #WeAreMusic.”

He also posted, “100% of the autographed Tom Morello Signature @JimDunlopUSA Cry Baby Wah Wah pedals benefitting @JailGuitarDoorsUSA sold out in 24hrs! We raised a good chunk of change for this great organization that helps put instruments in the hands of incarcerated men and women across the country as rehabilitation tools. THANKYOU! Check out my new pedal via the link in my bio.”
