Controversial rocker Kid Rock is back in headlines after firing off a harsh message on X, joking about his critics while bragging about his schedule, his restaurant, and of course his private jet. He responded to an article and launched a scathing attack.
Kid Rock rants on social media
In the post, the musician mocked online detractors who “somehow have time in their very important lives to comment on meaningless social media sites,” adding that he’s too busy living his life to worry about them.
He then described rushing to type the message before heading to dinner with friends at his new restaurant, The Detroit Cowboy. He wrote:
“The real funny thing in this is the haters’ heads I’m living in rent-free, who somehow have time in their very important lives to comment on meaningless social media sites 😂… all while I’m trying to type this fast so as not to be late for dinner with friends at my new restaurant, “The Detroit Cowboy”… and also finish packing for my hunting trip in Maryland that we leave for bright and early tomorrow! Thank God my private jet (Air F**k 1) won’t leave without me if I have too much fun again tonight! 🕺🏼🤣

A moment later, Kid Rock, in sunglasses, black T-shirt and camouflage shorts, walked onstage and started in on his first song. For the next hour and a half, the rocker bounced around, singing and dancing with a manic energy far beyond the recommended daily allowance for the knees and vertebrae of a 54-year-old grandfather.
The set list featured Kid Rock’s greatest hits, including a couple of classics from his first big album in the 1990s. If the musical vibe harked back to the days of Bill Clinton, the moment itself felt like a distillation of something very Trumpy.
This was the “Rock the Country” tour, orchestrated by Kid Rock and unofficially promoted by the president to the duo’s overlapping fan bases. The result was a lively mashup of identity politics and beer-battered revelry that billed itself as “a gathering for the true heart of America,” where “hardworking, God-fearing patriots unite under the open sky.”
