Valentine’s Day is the time of year where you can share a very private day with those that you love. That’s the case for Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain as she recently went out with her boyfriend, Tony Hawk’s son Riley Hawk, on what looks to be a skiing trip from a photo that they took together. She also included a photo of her and her boyfriend at the beach. Check these photos out below.
Kurt Cobain was a huge fan of art. He had his own favorite movies that he once shared. Via Far Out – Kurt Cobain stated while he did love film, that he didn’t want to be in the movie ‘Singles’. The movie is set amongst Seattle’s grunge explosion, with appearances from Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden making it stand out in the memory. During a 1992 interview, Cobain said: “There’s never really been a good documentary on rock and roll bands.”
In the same interview, Dave Grohl stated: “Except for Spinal Tap, [that] was the only rock movie worth watching”. Cobain would agree.
Nirvana were determined not to be part of the punchline, which is kind of anti-Spinal Tap.
Cobain would also say on the big rock band schtick: “Sometimes I wish I had taken the Bob Dylan route and sang songs where my voice would not go out on me every night, so I could have a career if I wanted.”
Cobain knew that his voice would not last because he was not properly using it.
