Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain has revealed a new video where she covers “The Wind” by Cat Stevens with Ben Jaffe, who was part of Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways album and television series. This is one of Frances Bean’s first properly filmed performances, and it should make Grohl and Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic proud!

Dave Grohl recently revealed how he first sang with Kurt Cobain.

The legal battle between Frances Bean Cobain and her ex-husband Isaiah Silva since their 2016 split unfortunately continues, with the longest term battle being over Kurt Cobain’s MTV Unplugged guitar that Silva claims Cobain gave to her as a gift. Silva then claimed that Courtney Love orchestrated a plot to have him murdered with Sam Lufti to get the guitar back, with an attack attempted in June 2016. He sued Love and Lufti, and even got in touch with Kurt Cobain murder conspiracy theorist private investigator Tom Grant.

TMZ reports that the defendants have agreed to a deal to have a psychiatrist check out Silva. Court documents stated the Silva was checked out on Tuesday at 10AM PT at a facility in California for roughly 7 hours with interviews, a mental status examination, and standardized psychological testing. Silva was asked several questions about the background of what he’s alleging in the lawsuit and how it’s still affecting him today. Frances Bean Cobain has made several social media posts recently, including a video of her lip syncing a bad pop song.
