We reported yesterday that Courtney Love has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-manager Sam Lutfi, PEOPLE confirms. Lufti is known for his involvement with Britney Spears years ago, and Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva has accused Lufti of being part of a conspiracy with Courtney Love to have him murdered over Kurt Cobain’s guitar.
The Hole frontwoman’s request was approved by a judge on Tuesday after she had filed documents claiming that Lutfi has been harassing her and her family via emails, texts and phone calls, according to TMZ. Love, 54, also claimed that Lutfi, 44, has been demanding money he believes he’s owed for his services.
The Blast sources are now reporting that Love is seeking the order to protect Frances Bean Cobain, not just herself.
The Blast are told Love claims Lutfi has been harassing her via phone, text message and email. The Blast sources say the messages have been “filthy, nasty and threatening.”
Lufti served as Spears’ manager during the mid-2000s when Spears famously melted down and was hospitalized on several occasions. He later sued Spears and her family for defamation; the lawsuit settled years later.
Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva is suing Courtney Love and Sam Lufti for allegedly trying to have him murdered to get back Kurt Cobain’s MTV Unplugged guitar.
TMZ reports that Isaiah Silva claims in a lawsuit filed earlier earlier this year, that in the early hours of June 3, 2016, Sam Lutfi, along with 2 other guys burglarized, robbed, assaulted, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him at his West Hollywood Home.
Silva says the goal was to get the guitar that was made famous on “MTV Unplugged” that he claims was gifted to him by Frances Bean.
Silva claims the group also injured his mother.
Silva is also suing John Nazarian, actor Ross Butler and musician Michael Schenk … claiming they were all involved in the conspiracy. BTW, he alleges they made their way inside his house by pounding on the front door and yelling, ‘Police, open up!!!” and “LAPD, open the f******* door!!!” And he claims, Lutfi grabbed Silva’s genitals through his pants, moved to within inches of his face and whispered, “Listen fa***t, calm the f*** down or we’ll drag you upstairs and take turns f****** you.”
