Larry David recently made a quiet comeback to public view this week and reunited with longtime collaborators Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus during an intimate holiday gathering.

On Saturday, Seinfeld shared a string of photos on Instagram, showing the iconic trio standing shoulder-to-shoulder as they shared a much-needed laugh amid their grief.
The pictures marked an unexpected glimpse of the Seinfeld legends back together following the devastating deaths of their close friends Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.
‘The creatures were stirring… Christmas Eve 2025,’ Seinfeld wrote in the caption. The reunion also marked David’s first public appearance since Rob and Michele were fatally stabbed at their Los Angeles home earlier this month.
David and Billy Crystal were among those who visited the Reiners’ home following the couple were discovered murdered, according to reports at the time.
In his tribute to Rob, Seinfeld gave credit to the late actor-director for having ‘the biggest influence’ next to David and George Shapiro.
‘Our show would have never happened without him,’ Seinfeld said, referring to Seinfeld. ‘He saw something no one else could.’
‘When nobody at the network liked the early episodes, he saved us from cancellation,’ Seinfeld said.
He ended his post by writing the passing of Rob and his wife is ‘impossibly sad.’
Earlier this month, Crystal, David, Martin Short, and several other close friends and prominent figures released a joint statement memorializing Rob to The Associated Press.
