British rock band Oasis announced Tuesday they would reunite for a world tour in 2025, marking an end to a feud lasting nearly 15 years between the band’s two lead members—brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. Oasis announced their reunion with a video showing Noel and Liam Gallagher kissing. The band announced the Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour in a social media post, saying “This is it, this is happening.”
Liam Gallagher spoiled Oasis reunion?
Now, some old tweets from last month have resurfaced on social media in which Liam Gallagher interacted with fans. During the interactions on July 24, he revealed to a fan that they did the photoshoot that day. He also said some other interesting things on the same day.
In another Tweet, he said that he’s going to Chicago next year which could mean that they might be headed to Chicago for a reunion show.
Meanwhile, in another interaction, he said some big things were happening which later proved to be the Oasis Reunion. However, nobody thought it was something serious since Liam can’t be taken seriously on X.

The announcement revealed a partial schedule for the upcoming concert tour, which is set to kick off on July 4th next year in Cardiff, Wales. The tour will include a series of shows in England, Scotland, and Ireland over the following two months.
Although the announcement did not specify the full lineup for the reunion shows, it did feature an image of the band’s lead singer, Liam Gallagher, alongside his older brother, Noel Gallagher, who is the lead guitarist and songwriter.
The concerts in the U.K. and Ireland will be Oasis’ only shows in Europe next year, but the band said “plans are underway” for expanding the tour to other continents later next year.
The Gallagher brothers had been teasing the reunion on social media for the past few days. The band was formed in 1991 and they emerged as one of the most influential acts on the Britpop scene. The band released its first album “Definitely Maybe” in 1994, which became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history and received a platinum certification in the U.S. (given to albums selling more than 1 million copies).
The brother duo went on to produce other iconic Britpop anthems including “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and “Champagne Supernova.” Despite its success, the band was marred by several years of conflicts, which resulted in Oasis splitting in 2009, after Noel Gallagher’s exit. At the time, the songwriter and guitarist said he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.” This was followed by a legal battle and a very public feud between the two brothers.
