According to NME, Linkin Park has announced details of a livestream event ahead of a major announcement scheduled for today, September 5. The band, featuring Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, and Joe Hahn, will share the news in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. Fans can watch the event via livestream on the band’s website at 3 PM PT (11 PM BST). Interestingly enough, a new female singer for Linkin Park was revealed in a recent interview.

“Don’t be late. Livestream tomorrow: 3pm PT at LinkinPark.com.”

Mike Shinoda recently urged fans not to miss the event, sharing the livestream link on his social media accounts. The announcement follows a week of teasers, including a mysterious countdown shared on their platforms, sparking speculation among fans. An early photo has leaked indicating the Linkin Park new album or reunion show is called From Zero.

The countdown, which started at 100 hours, began to count upwards once it hit zero on August 28, leaving fans puzzled. Linkin Park later hinted that “it’s only a matter of time,” causing further speculation that new music or events could be announced today.

Fans attending the event had to sign a waiver to keep the details secret until the livestream. This has led to speculation that the band may be preparing for new live shows or a new project. Some rumors suggest the possibility of a new singer following Chester Bennington’s death in 2017, although nothing has been confirmed.
