Marilyn Manson has released a new song titled “Raise the Red Flag,” but as with his previous release, he has disabled comments on the video. This isn’t surprising as even his voice sounded different during a recent show.
The track was released while Manson is touring with Five Finger Death Punch, marking his first major tour since 2019. This tour comes amid ongoing sexual assault and abuse lawsuits against him.
The “Raise the Red Flag” video features Manson’s band for the first time since their live performance on August 2. The band includes guitarist Reba Meyers, bassist Piggy D, drummer Gil Sharone, and guitarist Tyler Bates.
Earlier this month, Manson released another new song, “As Sick As The Secrets Within.” He performed it live for the first time on August 3 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland, and it received positive feedback from fans. Many commented on how much they enjoyed the song, praising Manson’s improved voice and the emotional impact of the track. Some fans expressed relief at hearing new music that reminded them of his earlier work, while others were excited to see him back in top form.
“As Sick As The Secrets Within” is Manson’s first song with his new label, Nuclear Blast Records, following rumors of a new album and his last release in 2020, “We Are Chaos.” His tour with Five Finger Death Punch is set to conclude on September 19 in Houston, Texas.
