MARILYN MANSON will face NO CHARGES after S*XUAL ASSAULT investigation; His ACCUSER REACTS.
After a multi-year long investigation into s*xual assault and domestic abuse allegations, Marilyn Manson will not face any charges.
According to the Associated Press, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman explained that there was insufficient evidence against Manson and that ultimately the claims made against him were outside the statute of limitations.
“We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of s*xual assault beyond a reasonable doubt,” Hochman stated.
“We recognize and applaud the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience with the investigation,” he added.
In 2021, actress Evan Rachel Wood (Manson’s ex-partner) accused the musician of grooming, abuse, and manipulation. In 2022, she also claimed that he “essentially r*ped” her “on-camera” while they filmed the music video for his 2007 song “Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand).”
After Wood came forward, several other women made allegations against Manson (whose real name is Brian Warner), including Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco who filed a lawsuit against him.
While Manson and Bianco reached an out-of-court settlement in January 2023, she had still been waiting for the prosecutor to make a decision over the allegations. In October 2024, she went as far as to slam Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón over what she described as the “mishandled” r*pe allegations.
Now, in a statement posted to her Instagram, Bianco reacted to the outcome of the investigation, writing in part:
“Whilst I am deeply disappointed by the decision of the District Attorney to not bring charges in the case against Brian Warner, I am sadly not surprised. Within our toxic culture of victim blaming; a lack of understanding of coercive control, the complex nature of sexual assault within intimate partnerships, and statutes of limitations that do not support the realities of healing; prosecutions face an oftentimes insurmountable hurdle.
“Once again, our justice system has failed survivors.”
She added that blame lies not with the prosecutors or detectives, but “the system that made them do so with one hand tied behind their collective backs.”
She concluded by writing: “To Brian Warner, I say only this. By you dragging me through hell, I discovered the unstoppable force of my own power. I learnt how strong, and brave and bold I really am. I emerged as a Phoenix from the ashes that you left of my life. You also know the truth, and may you endeavor to find peace with that.”
