As they wrapped up their portion of the dates at the FTX Arena in Miami, Florida, on February 10, Blonde Redhead received an amusing send-off by Keenan. Tool frontman pranked the opening band by storming the stage to scare them during their set. Of course that it was all in good fun, and Blonde Redhead’s frontwoman Kazu Makino posted footage of the incident later on her Instagram account.

Tool will resume their tour this week, accompanied by The Acid Helps, and later by Brass Against, as they will make the jump to Europe in April. All dates and venues can be found here.

The band previously debuted a new song live on tourTool also recently returned to Las Vegas for the first time in almost a couple of years on Saturday night. The veteran metal band has now staged two of its past 30 performances at T-Mobile Arena, the only venue that’s hosted Tool twice since the group released its fifth album, Fear Inoculum, in 2019. The band also recently went to San Diego, south of their home in Los Angeles, for their concert at Viejas Arena.

They have been billed as another date on the Fear Inoculum Tour, the latest concert was in no way a rendition of the previous one. The setlist was heavier on Fear Inoculum material, with all but one song off the latest album performed, and the visuals were mostly new. The group’s epic 2022 world tour will conclude on May 24 at the Budapest Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
