Metallica could be heading to Australia and the United States for a tour next year as per a fan, who claimed Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo confirmed it.

The legendary heavy metal band is expected to go on an explosive tour across Australia and the United States next year. It’s been a while since the band showed up in Australia and with this report, fans Down Under are excitedly buzzing. The whispers of their return have grown into a full-blown roar, with fans eagerly awaiting official tour dates.
Well, it turns out Metallica could be planning a massive tour across the United States as well. Fans are likely to have the chance to witness the band. The band’s last tour in the US was nothing short of a spectacle. The band is also scheduled to make their presence felt this year across several dates in August.
It is needless to mention that Metallica’s legacy is undeniable. Since their formation in 1981, they have continued to push the boundaries of heavy metal, creating anthems that have stood the test of time. Fans will certainly expect an unparalleled live experience. The band is known for explosive stage presence, blustering guitar solos, and thunderous drum beats and the tour promises nothing short.
Recently, it has come to light that after conquering all terrestrial continents, Metallica are headed to Fortnite later this month as the metal veterans will become the first band to play appear across all Fortnite experiences.
It is noted that after launching Metallica-themed gameplay starting Thursday (June 13) in Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing, the Bay Area rockers will play a series of in-game concerts for players only on June 22 and 23 entitled Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury.
Epic Games recently announced the news on Wednesday (June 12) and revealed that users will have six opportunities to catch the concerts at 2 p.m, 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. on the 22nd and 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the 23rd. The company stated that the concert was completely customized and built from the ground-up using the powerful Unreal Editor 3D computer graphic game engine.
The gig has been described as an immersive experience with, “a brand-new playable concert that will journey through six of Metallica’s fan-favorite songs with themed gameplay that complements the intensity of a Metallica live show.”
