Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich recently shared a video in his Instagram story where he said he discussed being featured in a book with many 90’s alternative rock icons. Ulrich was kind to everybody named, saying he was a fan of them all, with no feuds appearing to be present.
Ulrich said, “Check this shit out people. Matt Everett, The First Time: Stories & Songs from Music Icons. How very fucking cool is that. Then right there on page 194, some very cool company, as you can see. Very fucking cool company.”
The book features alternative rock icons like Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, Hole singer Courtney Love, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.
