Mötley Crüe Are Struggling To Sell Tickets

In September, Mötley Crüe are set to kick off their Las Vegas Residency, which will see them perform ten shows over the span of four weeks. The concerts are scheduled to take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM – a venue with a capacity of 5,200. However, ticket sales to these ten shows seem to be struggling, with fans growing concerned about the potential that these gigs could be scrapped.

Mötley Crüe fans on Reddit have noticed that hundreds of tickets for their upcoming residency shows remain available to purchase on Ticketmaster.

“There are still a ton of tickets available for the Las Vegas shows. Who thinks they’ll make an excuse to cancel?” one fan wrote.

“It might be the casino/promoter pulling any out clause. Even at half price, tix don’t seem to be moving,” another commented. “Or blame Vince’s health while he still does dimestore Crue shows in casinos a hundred miles from any airport.”

A third fan suggested that dwindling Las Vegas tourism could be partially to blame for low ticket sales.

“They will blame the ‘economy of Las Vegas.’ Tourism to the area has dropped by double digits,” they wrote. “Vegas has priced out the average tourist ($10 for a cup of coffee) and now is suffering.”

Recent reports by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority note that Vegas has seen an 11.3% drop in the number of visitors this June compared to June 2024, marking the sixth consecutive month that tourism has been in decline.

Mötley Crüe’s alleged sales struggles come after the band was forced to postpone their Las Vegas residency earlier this year. Originally, these ten concerts were set to take place in March and April 2025, but were rescheduled to September and early October after frontman Vince Neil underwent a medical procedure.

“To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to see us this spring, I’m truly sorry,” Neil said in a statement at the time. “My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can’t wait to return to the stage. Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know.”
