Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx revealed how alcohol may be more dangerous than drugs like heroin, especially since it’s legal, in a new tweet.

A fan tweeted, “alcoholism is a horrible disease. My husband has been diagnosed with dementia due to thiamine deficiency, secondary to liver disease (result of alcoholism). Other diseases is a-fib. He will never be the same.😢❤️”

Sixx responded, “Even though I am an opioid survivor I believe deep inside that alcohol is equally as deadly and somehow legal!!!! No alcoholic dies a pretty life and they destroy everything and body in there path. #SayAPrayer.”

You can find a local Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on AA.org.

Sixx posted on Instagram a couple of days ago, “My wife in her happy place:::REPOST Behind the scenes at our shoot for my upcoming flower line Bouquet Box created by me and co-designed by @marksgarden I really love working behind the the camera to make my vision come to life. I prefer it to being in front of the camera and have always been more interested in all of the creativity that goes into a shoot than arriving as the talent when I used to model.

All of the set design, styling, the theme and hair & makeup was always so interesting and fun for me and it’s no different when working with flowers. P.S. Bending over while almost 8 months pregnant is not the easiest. 🤣 #bouquetbox #marksgarden #how2girl #flowers #flowerstagram #roses #hydrangea #floral #freshcutflowers #flowery #flowering #floraldesign #florals #courtneysixx #gracerosefarm.”
