Motley Crue founder Nikki Sixx was recently asked a question by a fan on social media. The fan noted that Generation Swine is almost a forbidden subject, and praised ‘Beauty’. The fan further asked what is the song all about. Sixx took note of the question and said the band were ‘taking brick to the face’ in the 90’s:

“Killer tracks in that album. No matter what we did at that time we were taking bricks in the face. But look who’s back playing STADIUMS…..”

Nikki Sixx provides update on Stadium Tour

A critical health Motley Crue member’s health update was revealed. In 2019, Motley Crue had announced their upcoming tour which was planned to take place in 2020 as the band’s first major tour since 2015. Then the band had to reschedule their concerts to 2021 because of the global pandemic. However, 2021 was another disappointment for both the band and their fans.

Due to an upsurge in virus cases and some people’s reluctance to get the vaccine, Motley Crue decided to postpone their Stadium Tour to this year once again after last year. It will start on June 16, 2022, in Atlanta and end on September 7, 2022, in San Francisco. Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will also join them as the co-headliners.

Even though Nikki Sixx guaranteed that they will begin their upcoming tour according to the schedule many times, fans are still worried especially after the Omicron variant. Recently, Sixx confronted a fan saying that they will hit the road with Def Leppard in June, and he’s looking forward to it.

The Stadium Tour, with all of the rightful postponements, will still be Motley Crue’s first major tour as a group together since 2015. The tour is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, and conclude Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.
