Tool recently went live on concert at Chase Center in San Francisco, CA on Sunday night. At the show, they went on to play ‘Sober’ for the first time in many years, and fans are delighted to witness it. The band performed a tight and impressive set and won over much of the crowd with their performance. Tool also debuted a new song live on tour recently.

One of the fans on Reddit said: “I’m hitting the road to see more.” Another also lavished praise on Maynard James Keenan for his epic performance at the show as the fan said “he sounded incredible.”

Tool also went out live on January 10th for a concert at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR to open the US leg of their 2022 Fear Inoculum tour. They also performed live in Tacoma, WA on January 11.

The alternative metal legends were planning for a major tour in support of their new album Fear Inoculum back in Spring 2020 before the global pandemic stopped them in their tracks. And after that 18-month break, they are back on road. Maynard James Keenan recently forgot the words this classic Tool hit.

Tool are set to play in North America and Europe throughout the winter and early spring of 2022, 3 years after the release of their comeback album ‘Fear Inoculum.’ Maynard James Keenan has kept busy with his wine business and Puscifer, though fans are still desperately waiting for what’s next with A Perfect Circle.

Sober is arguably Tool’s biggest hit, coming off of the band’s debut album ‘Undertow’ in 1993′ via Zoo Entertainment. The album, which was released April 6, 1993, would sell over three million copies in the United States and is certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
