Mötley Crüe Singer Fooled By AI Woman

AI-generated images have come a long way in the last few years, getting more and more convincing with every passing day. While most people are still able to differentiate what is AI and what is real, others are easily fooled – including, it seems, Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil.

On Monday (June 23rd), fans were quick to notice that Neil had responded to an AI-generated image of a woman wearing a very revealing purple bikini with a matching cat ears headband. The image was shared to Twitter/X with the caption: “Can I dm you the nudy version?”

The account in question is clearly fake, containing a multitude of AI-generated images with the user posing as a 23-year-old Florida resident.

Neill, however, seems to not have noticed the artificial nature of the account. In the comment section of the post, he simply replied: “Yea.”

Multiple fans attempted to alert the musician to the situation. “Vince, this is AI, man. It’s fake,” one Mötley Crüe fan wrote, while another added: “Vince, you’re gooning over an AI photo.”

This is the second time in recent months that Neil was caught by fans commenting on posts featuring scantily dressed women. Shortly after it was announced that Neil and his longtime girlfriend Rain Hannah have split after nearly 15 years together, Neil replied to a post of a woman offering risqué photos via direct message.

Fans in the comment section were shocked, but not surprised, by Neil’s public lust over the woman. “I was about to say he has been hacked but this is something Vince would definitely do?” one fan wrote.

“Vince Neil caught gooning in 4k,” another commented, while a third begged him to “stop,” calling his comment “embarrassing.”
