Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx recently addressed concerns regarding his family’s safety and privacy in a detailed response shared on X.
Nikki Sixx talks about stalkers
The statement came as a fan questioned why Sixx no longer shares photos of his daughter Ruby on social media. Sixx then explained that the serious security concerns have led to this decision.
“Because we’ve been stalked and our family has been threatened multiple times the last few years,” Sixx said.
“Some are in jail now but Ruby doesn’t need to be exposed to millions of people, mostly cool fans but she is more important to us than posting photos and from experience, it’s proven to not be safe for her.”
The musician highlighted his commitment to protecting his children from potential dangers.
“She deserves better. Thats me and my wife protecting her from mentally ill people,” he continued.
“My older kids prefer their privacy as well.”
Sixx also detailed the security measures his family has taken to ensure their safety.
“We have strong law enforcement relationships (as well as lawyers who have put stalkers in jail) but we also live in Wyoming on private property and we are locked and loaded and know our rights to protect our family,” he added.
“Nothing in my life matters more than my family.”
