Guns N’ Roses recently debuted two ‘new’ singles, ‘Nothin’ and ‘Atlas.’ It has been noted that Nine Inch Nails‘ Robin Finck and Brain (Bryan Mantia) played on the songs, as they were recorded over 25 years ago during the Chinese Democracy sessions. Slash and Duff McKagan added parts in recent years.

While Finck’s primary role in Guns N’ Roses was that of lead guitarist, Finck is credited with playing some of the electronic keyboard parts on Chinese Democracy.

Meanwhile, in March 2000, Mantia joined the revamped lineup of Guns N’ Roses as he was recommended to singer Axl Rose by Buckethead. He had been a part of several legs of the Chinese Democracy Tour with Guns N’ Roses from 2000 until 2006, when he parted ways with the band to take care of his newborn child. The pair of songs is the legendary rockers’ first release in two years, following ‘Perhaps’ and ‘The General’ in 2023.

‘Nothin’ is the slower of the pair, taking on the form of a rock power ballad with thick, retro-sounding keyboard chords and a characteristically elaborate burst of soloing from Slash. Meanwhile, ‘Atlas’ is a mid-tempo stadium rock tune.

Guns N’ Roses had confirmed that the two new songs were coming when they announced their huge 2026 world tour last week, shortly after completing a run of mammoth gigs across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America earlier this year.

New dates have been announced for Axl Rose and the band, starting with performances in Mexico and Brazil. They will then head to Europe for additional shows before wrapping up the tour with concerts in stadiums across the US and Canada.

The tour kicks off in Mexico on March 28th, followed by nine major shows in Brazil throughout April. In May, the band will make two stops in Florida before continuing their tour with a series of European performances in June and July.

The European leg will begin with two concerts in Poland, followed by a show in Dublin and a previously scheduled appearance at the UK’s Download Festival.

Other gigs include stops in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium, before the ‘Welcome To The Jungle Hitmakers’ head over the pond again for North American shows. These kick off in North Carolina on July 23rd, and conclude on September 19th in Georgia.
