On Facebook, Nirvana recently posted a Seattle Times article about the band’s surviving members Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl, and Pat Smear reuniting to perform “Molly’s Lips” at Foo Fighters’ Safeco Field show in Seattle.

There were a stream of stupid comments from ‘fans’ who weren’t happy about them performing without Kurt Cobain, who died in 1994, despite the surviving members performing together numerous times in the last decade, despite the performances all getting great crowd reactions.

Krist Novoselic had a great response on Twitter, tweeting, “We tried to get a hold of him for this gig—as many times as we tried to contact Kurt, we couldn’t get through. The phone just kept ringing & ringing. Kurt does not have email. In fact I have never emailed him in my life and I have been online since 1993.”

Novoselic’s band Giants in the Trees were opening for Foo Fighters at Safeco Field. You can view his tweet and watch the great performance below.
