The Daily Mail reported last month that former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher is seeking to sell one of his four mansions for £11.5 million.
Gallagher moved to upmarket Little Venice in 2010 when he bought the semi-detached home for £8 million.
The substantial stucco-fronted period house overlooks the Regent’s Canal and has five bedrooms, four reception rooms and four bathrooms.
At the bottom of the garden is a separate one-bedroom annex with a kitchen, bathroom and large gym.
Gallagher put the home on the market with an asking price of £11.5 million but admitted in February he couldn’t find a buyer.
He said: ‘If there are any wealthy Russians reading this story give me a call please, because I have a house I’m trying to sell.
‘I’ve got one on the market and it’s proving very difficult to shift… if you’re a Russian oligarch. I’m upgrading.’
The rocker says he likes to have a spare in case he needs to get away from wife Sara MacDonald.
He reveals: ‘I’m living in one house and I’ve got a spare one, which does come in handy if I have a row with the missus.’
