With Oasis Mania spreading across the United Kingdom, fans are excited to see the band perform again after over 15 years. TalkSPORT host Simon Jordan hinted that Noel and Liam Gallagher might reunite sooner than expected, just after a new photo of Noel leaving a recording studio surfaced.
Simon Jordan suggested that Oasis could get back together as soon as next month. The Gallagher brothers last performed together in August 2009, but they recently announced they’ve ended their feud and will reunite for a tour after 15 years. The band has shared dates for the tour starting in July 2025, with more coming soon, though the band have clarified there won’t be festival dates.
Jordan, a former Crystal Palace owner, believes a reunion could happen next month. He talked with Noel about it and mentioned that Noel didn’t plan to attend an event on September 21st, with the reason being it would look strange if Liam was singing while Noel was in the crowd wearing earmuffs. But now that they’ve made up and have a big tour coming, things could now change, and we could soon see their first public appearance back together.
It’s funny because I asked him – basically he came to the fight between Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez [in February] – and I had asked him about September 21.”
“His reason for not going was because he didn’t think it was a good look, if he was in the crowd, Liam was singing and he was wearing earmuffs!”
“But now they’ve all made friends and a big bag of money around the world for them.”
“He loves going [to the big fights], all this hullabaloo for Oasis reforming, they didn’t make the same noise for Blur.”
Liam Gallagher is also set to play a small gig before the big boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois at Wembley on September 21. While it’s unlikely that Noel and Liam will perform together at Wembley, just having them both there would be a big deal.
Oasis, famous for albums like “Definitely Maybe” and “[What’s the Story?] Morning Glory,” is one of the best-selling bands in British history. When they split in 2009, Noel said he was relieved to leave the band because of his issues with Liam.
Oasis has announced 17 tour dates across the UK for 2025. Tickets go on sale on August 31st. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if a full reunion might happen sooner than expected.
