Oasis have finally reunited and fans are speculating whether Noel Gallagher will apologize to Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters have been on bad terms with Oasis

The tension between the Foo Fighters and Noel Gallagher started after the former rock band headlined the Reading Festival in 2019. Drummer Taylor Hawkins had a picture of Noel and Liam Gallagher on his kick drum head, and he later explained that it was part of his tradition of putting random people on his drum head.

Since the Foos were performing at Reading, he thought the Gallagher brothers were appropriate. When Hawkins took center stage to sing and looked back at Dave Grohl at his drum set, he said they should start a petition to get Oasis back together.

However, Noel took offense and said first they should start a petition to get the Foo Fighters to break up, which Taylor thought was funny. Then Noel said: “If the drummer of Nirvana…wants Oasis to get back together, he can come up on this stage right now and suck my you-know-what.”

Hawkins called the former Oasis star’s new band “Noel Gallagher and the Low-Charting Turds” and added that he thought Gallagher was “really a jerk.”

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher also had a beef with Dave Grohl, as he’d attempted to slide away from Grohl when the pair bumped into each other at Glastonbury, refusing to make small talk. Despite the former Nirvana drummer’s constant presence at Glastonbury, Noel made a point not to chat.

‘’I would just like him to wind his f**king neck in about Oasis,’’ he continued. ‘’I wouldn’t talk to him. I haven’t got time for that f**king mob any more.’’

Dave has previously called the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ icons ‘a**holes’ for not setting aside their huge feud and reforming the band. The siblings have now put their 15-year feud aside for a long-awaited reunion tour with 14 dates in the UK and Ireland, plus a world tour. The brothers had an infamous fallout just before they were supposed to perform in Paris in 2009.

Noel and Liam have now reconciled and are poised to earn £400 million for their upcoming reunion tour next summer. Fans are thrilled, and Dave Grohl likely is as well.

Dave has been vocal about his wishes for the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers to get back together. He was so determined to get the feuding Gallagher brothers to make amends that he upset Noel, who likely also wasn’t happy that Grohl is friends with Liam. It may be time for Noel to finally apologize to Dave.

The Gallagher brothers have been teasing a reunion on social media for the past few days. Oasis was formed in 1991 and emerged as one of the most popular acts on the Britpop scene. In 1994, the band released its first album, “Definitely Maybe,” which became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history and received a platinum certification in the U.S. (given to albums selling more than 1 million copies). The brother duo went on to produce other iconic Britpop anthems including “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and “Champagne Supernova.” In other news, Noel Gallagher was recently spotted in public after the announcement of Oasis reunion.
