Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers members have announced that they are set to appear on a new television series next year. This news comes just a day after the recording status of the new Pearl Jam album was revealed. PearlJamOnline reported, “Eddie Vedder will appear in Surfing Rockers, a new TV show about rock stars who have a passion for surfing and the ocean and about how both have influenced their lives and music.

The TV show will be directed by Rafael Syd and will be featuring Anthony Kiedis, Ben Harper, Billie Joe Armstrong, Kelly Slater, Taylor Hawkins, Kirk Hammett, Jack Johnson, Jim Lindberg, and Eddie Vedder. Surfing Rockers will debut on TV February 2nd 2020 in Brazil.”

Jeff Ament has been interviewed in two new films, PearlJamOnline is also reporting. The Pearl Jam bass player has been interviewed in two excellent documentaries: Boy Howdy! The Story of Creem Magazine and You Can Color Outside the Lines… The Big Boys.

Boy Howdy! The Story of Creem Magazine is dedicated to the famous magazine Creem, founded in 1969 while You Can Color Outsides the Line… The Big Boys is, as suggested by the title, about Big Boys, a pioneer hardcore punk band formed 40 years ago in Austin, Texas. Eddie Vedder recently revealed a massive paycheck for a great cause. Vedder and Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California next month.
