Pearl Jam, Taylor Momsen’s The Pretty Reckless, and The Killers are set to headline Lollapalooza Stockholm in July 2021. The Killers, Post Malone, Royal Blood, and Jimmy Eat World will play on July 2nd, while Kendrick Lamar and Veronica Maggio will headline July 3rd. Pearl Jam and Zara Larsson will perform with The Pretty Reckless and Wolf Alice on the 4th of July.

Momsen has a connection to Grunge, fronting Soundgarden at the ‘I Am The Highway’ Chris Cornell memorial show in January 2019. The Pretty Reckless opened for Soundgarden on their final tour with Chris Cornell, including at their fateful last show in Detroit on May 17, 2017.

Chris Cornell died by suicide shortly after the show, devastating Momsen, who looked up to Cornell as her idol in rock. Momsen is joined by surviving Soundgarden members Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron on The Pretty Reckless’ new album Death By Rock and Roll.

The connection also ties into Pearl Jam, as Momsen recorded with Cameron and Thayil at London Bridge Studio in Seattle. Pearl Jam recorded their landmark debut album Ten at London Bridge Studio. Temple of the Dog also recorded their lone album at the studio. Rick Parashar co-founded the studio and produced both albums, and he passed away in 2014.
