Rage Against The Machine fans may be the hardest hit by this news, but live concerts may not return until 2021. RATM haven’t played live since 2011, so a postponement of all concerts for a year and a half would be horrible for RATM fans, extending their hiatus.

Bioethicist Zeke Emanuel told the New York Times large public gatherings may not be safe for 18 months due to the recent disease epidemic.

“Larger gatherings – conferences, concerts, sporting events – when people say they’re going to reschedule this conference or graduation event for October 2020, I have no idea how they think that’s a plausible possibility,” said Emanuel, a vice provost for global initiatives and director of the Healthcare Transformation Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. “I think those things will be the last to return.

“Realistically we’re talking fall 2021 at the earliest.”

Rage Against The Machine fans recently revealed what Zack de la Rocha has been up to in recent years.

Asimpledroid posted on Reddit, “He lives here in Los Angeles still. Gets involved with Mexican/Latinx charities/activism, has gone down to Mexico a lot to support various things, and I read one article where he’s gotten involved with a son jarocho group that’s performed here in LA and also toured throughout Mexico.

So, he’s out there doing charity/activism work that’s fulfilling for him while maintaining his privacy and hopefully living his best life.”

Mivi4all added, “He has been heavily involved in activism, specially in Latinx communities in L.A and immigration and undocumented citizens rights related causes.

Apart from activism, he is always making music even if a lot of the works end up not seeing the light of the day.

He has always been an extremely private person. Even during Rage’s active years he did very few interviews and rarely ever talked about his personal life so it’s not surprising at all that there’s not much about him on the internet.

This is what he prefers as captured in the first few lines of his last single ‘digging for windows’ ‘F*** that bright shit The spot or the flashlights We in L.A. ducking both.'”
