Rage Against The Machine fans have been refused refunds by Ticketmaster for the band’s reunion tour, as all concerts are up in the air due to the current worldwide disease epidemic.
Alonabc posted on the RATM Reddit, “For those of you with tickets, Ticketmaster has made a new policy against refunds. So just a heads up that you won’t be able to get a refund on your tickets. I’m also super pissed about this situation as we don’t know when the new dates are and whether the tour will even happen this year. If it doesn’t happen then i’m sure many people would want a refund. Just another reason why i feel Ticketmaster deserves to go bankrupt.”
BoogerSnawt responded, “I have tickets through Vivid Seats (hard to swallow but had to go there for good seats) and my bank won’t do a charge back until a) a new date is announced + b) I can’t attend the new date + c) the vendor won’t refund my money.
So that’s a thousand bucks I won’t see any time soon.
If there was a new date announced I wouldn’t be as sour about it, but as it stands it sounds like concerts may be out for a year, even two, until a vaccine is released…..and I don’t really feel like donating a thousand bucks to a professional scalper over that time.”
NorganKxoxo added, “F**k Ticketmaster. I know absolutely nothing about lawsuits and the like, but could they be sued or something over this? Because when buying a ticket you were committing to a specific date, not a lottery of an eventual date. AND the policy was different when said tickets were purchased.
Idk, I didn’t think it was possible for Ticketmaster to get worse and more corrupt but here we are.”
