Original Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler discussed doing cocaine with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich in a car that former Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 was driving in a new Loudwire interview.
“I’ve been hanging out with Nikki Sixx and my friend John 5, these guys the stories they’re telling me, I’m going, I should have written another book. Stories where, me and John 5, and Lars, John was driving us to Arizona to a Metallica show. John wasn’t doing cocaine, but me and Lars were doing blow the whole way. We get to the show, and they had that Justice arm, and it would fall over. Well John tripped on the wire, and made it fall before it was supposed to fall. I’m going, it’s completely blank in here, how can I not remember that?”
Adler is putting together a book titled Steven Adler: The Shit My Friends Remember I Did, and is seeking stories from StevenAdlerStories.com.
“There’s quite a few girls around the world that I have to apologize to, because when I did drink and use drugs, I would do and say things I normally wouldn’t do.”
He also recently told Loudwire, “I’m putting a book together called Steven Adler: The Shit My Friends Remember I Did. Because now that I’m sober I’m hearing all these stories of things I did and I’m completely blank. So all my friends are telling me stories and so I started a website called Steven Adler Stories and if you have a story where we’ve ever met anywhere around the world, it should be no less that 20 words and no more than 125 words. That’s how you can be a part of my history.”
