Red Hot Chili Peppers’ John Frusciante Filmed With Musician Girlfriend

A never before seen photo and video of reclusive former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante with his musician girlfriend Marcia Pinna.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea recently returned to Twitter and began answering fan questions. He announced, “I’ve returned to twitter. I was focusing my word writing energy elsewhere. There is nothing better on earth than playing trumpet in the bathroom. Listen to Modou Mbaye Seck.”

In 2011, Chad Smith discussed the recording sessions for the band’s 2003 Greatest Hits album, saying they recorded sixteen songs and wanted to release a new album of that material after a brief tour; however, by that time John Frusciante was against doing that because the style he was playing had changed and evolved as had his musical influences. Smith said there is an entire Red Hot Chili Peppers album out there that nobody will likely ever hear.

Flea was asked about the band’s abandoned 2003 album in his new Twitter fan Q&A. He said, “‘Mini-Epic’ was a good one from the session too. Did that ever come out? You’d know better than me.”

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan was recently asked about John Frusciante during an Instagram story Q&A.

Corgan called Frusciante a ‘brilliant musician.’
