Chris Cornell’s mother-in-law Toni Karayiannis discussed the ‘fairytale’ romances and marriages that late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington had with their wives Vicky and Talinda.

“The fairytale of Talinda’s love, the fairytale of Vicky’s love will always be in their hearts! And their children’s! Not one bad word or hate ever came from these women’s mouths! Only love! I never read a single fight or insults to their husbands! They can walk with their heads up! All others??? I would keep my eyes to the ground! Truth! Fact.”

She also discussed how the Cornell family are maintaining Chris’ wishes for his children.

“Same life as before same travels just a big broken heart for these kids not being with Daddy! He’s here though! He’s protecting them! Rome, Paris, Switzerland, their education is a priority! It was and is what Chris wanted and Papou of course! These children will just have double love to overcome the loss of Daddy! Papa is here! No worries!

Our heart and door is open to all those who feel the same for us! Otherwise the door is closed forever and you can only look in from the outside.”

She also recently discussed unreleased Chris Cornell material.

“Your words bring love to all of us, comfort, and sounds like a song of love he wrote for them and used to sing to the three of them at night! His voice was angelic. One day maybe the world will hear it from Toni? I think she might want to share it with you! Her to decide! Dad wrote many songs for them he loved to do that! Was a way to express his love, put them to sleep at night, or when they were up from being jet-lagged. Me, I always had a tear when I heard it! What Toni would do with them she decide! Treasures Chris Cornell left behind! His legacy will go on with his Vicky and his children.”
